Registration Deadline is (TODAY) March 18 with a $50 deposit due per person for the Trek to the Ark Trip! We estimate the cost per person at $150 which includes transportation, lodging, daily continental breakfast, dinner, and tickets to The Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter.  Please remember, current 8th – 12th graders are welcome to attend as individuals as well as families of all ages!  Please note there will be a meeting for those desiring to go on the trek on Sunday, April 8th, at 11:00 AM.  If you are considering this trip, or if you are considering this trip and did not receive an email, please contact Lori or Toby.

Tonight we will be having a Service of Remembrance. We will be remembering those from our church family who passed away in 2017. The service will be videotaped and broadcast at 8:00 PM tonight and again on Tuesday & Thursday at 8:30 AM, 7:00 PM and Midnight.

Our Christian Sympathy is extended to Jack & Mary Hoffmann in the loss of Mary’s sister, Barb Kaat.  We pray God will comfort them in their time of bereavement.

The Serve Team is looking to form a team of people to serve as Funeral Coordinators within our church. While we presently have one person who is willing to serve as a coordinator we are hoping to have 2-3 other coordinators to form a team.  Our funeral service is a wonderful ministry to our church families and extends to our community and further.  The immediate need is to create this “coordination team” that will be the initial contact point when the need arises.  The Coordinators will work with the Work Groups to coordinate sandwich making, cake donations and wait staff for the funeral service.  If this is something God is calling you to participate in, please contact Lorann TenHaken by phone or voice message at 262-573-5406 or email at ltenhaken@wi.rr.com.  Also, if you are interested in assisting with serving for funerals or any food preparation,  contact Lorann to be added to the list of those already serving in that capacity.  "Many hands make light work.”

Faith and Family Night Is Back! It will be this Wednesday, March 21.  A sign-up sheet is at the Information Booth.  Please sign-up TODAY if you plan on attending so we have an accurate dinner count.  Dinner will be sloppy joes, and the activity for the night will be a service project.  If you have questions, please see Lori or Toby.

NOTE: Last Sunday, March 11th, we publically received Holli & Taylor Rook into our church membership by Letter of Transfer from Peace Reformed Church in Sioux City, Iowa.

Love INC Brat Fry/Bake Sale Fundraiser:  We are once again partnering with fellow Oostburg and Cedar Grove churches for a Love INC Brat Fry/Bake Sale Fundraiser on Saturday, April 21 from 10-2 at the Oostburg Piggly Wiggly.  Our church, along with the other Oostburg churches, will be in charge of the Bake sale part.  We are in need of a few people to sit at the baked goods table (free will donation) from 12:30-2 and help take down, and provide donated baked goods (cookies, bars, snack mixes, muffins, breads, etc.).  If you would be willing to help, please sign up at the Love INC table or see Diane Joosse. Thanks!

We are looking for 1-2 caring people to offer child care for 2 children in the church nursery while their mom attends a Life Group (at church) every other Wednesday afternoon.  If you would be willing to help out, please see Diane Joosse. Thank you!

The purpose of Love INC is "to mobilize the local Christian church to transform lives and communities through relationships in the name of Christ". FRC is a partner church in support of Love INC and we also are Co-Gap leaders of the Bedding and Linen Ministry (with Zion in Sheboygan).  There are so many ways to serve as the hands and feet of Christ through the Love INC ministry.  Here are a few ways to find out where God may be leading you:

Talent survey: This gives a good look at the many areas where you can serve at Love INC- you'll find them at the Love INC booth.

Volunteer Training: The next volunteer training will be held on: Tuesday, April 17th, from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM and Thursday, April 19th, from 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM.  Sign up information is at the booth.

Be a part of our Bedding and Linens Gap Ministry: (This does not require you to have volunteer training). We have a need now for people to help drop off donations at Zion (who houses the ministry) and also twice a month we need people who are willing to go pick up the bedding needed for those getting beds from the furniture gap ministry.

Mentors in the Transformational Ministry (in the beginning stages) - If you have a heart for people and desire to serve Christ by walking with a neighbor in need as they begin the process of transforming their lives...this ministry is for you.  Please see Cindy or Diane, as training is available and required.

If you have questions about Love INC., please contact Cindy Hoitink (564-3150 or phoitink@hotmail.com) or Diane Joosse (564-2861 or djoesee@frontier.com)

Mission of the Month: The offerings received in March are going to Living Hope Uganda (Pastor Elijah), and in particular, towards the cost of the perimeter wall he needs to put up around the orphanage to satisfy new government regulations.  The amount received to date is $1, 265.00.

March Food items needed for the Food Vault:  Peanut butter, rice, granola bars, and kid-friendly-cereal.

I am humbled by the amount of love that was shared with me for my 50th Birthday.  Thank you for all the hugs, cards, greetings, prayers and gifts. (Kiddos – I especially loved your singing and cards!)  I feel very blessed and loved. ~ Lori Taylor

Thanks to all who donated food or gave of their time for the Easter food pick-up this past Tuesday.  We were thankful to serve 28 families in the name of Jesus.  Please continue to pray for those who received food.

Parents of children 3 years old through fifth grade thanks for your efforts getting the kiddos here early this morning so they could help lead worship.
